Urban Bite, another company who is in the competitive race to make it big in the online take-away order business being online since 2001 with the same type of trend of using red as part of the website colour scheme. Maybe red has a big affect on customers to order more food online. Who knows?

Before even of visiting the web-page http://www.urbanbite.com the name suggests that it is targeting towards younger audience with the word ‘Urban’ but after visiting the website my thoughts completely changed. I then thought it was a site to order oriental food online when I first saw the bowls in the centre of the page.

There is a limited amount of restaurants across the UK which are registered with UrbanBite.com so the choices of food or cuisines are limited too. The whole concept of take away food ordering website is to search for your nearest cuisine or take away outlet and choose from the menu, so with a really low number of restaurants searching for your nearest restaurant will turn in to a game of Lucky Dip.

But with 5000+ registered users on the website, UrbanBite.com must be doing something. Customer are enabled to rate the restaurant they have ordered from yet not rating the website and the useability of the website itself.
