TakeawayMenu.com, your "ordering is simple" - so they say. The business was opened in April 2007and is apparently "the most powerful and sophisticated online takeaway food ordering system in the world today" in their point of view. Their technology is backed by 24x group which specialises in advance software development including mobile communications and sophisticated internet data collection. "The 24x team has over 100 years of IT experience" - anyone else think there is something wrong with that statement? You can read more on their 'about us' page to get an idea of what TakeawayMenu.com is ALL about. Below is a picture of their homepage which you can browse around and get the feel of the service to have your own takeaway experience.
TakeawayMenu.com website has a simple website design using the British patriot colours of blue, white and red which really stands out and focuses your attention on the lovely picture of the corporate lady sitting on the floor with her laptop celebrating as if she has won an online bingo competition. The big red box on the right hand side also draws your attention instantly enabling you to enter your full postcode. In the middle you will get to see random images change from time to time - if you hang about on the home page a little bit longer. This next image is pretty much self explanatory. I have tried to search for more postcodes but get the same message. Looks like they need to do more recruiting in North West area of London. Although, I have entered in a West Sussex postcode and hurrah a list appears. But it is the most unusual list you will ever come across compared to the other competitors you may have seen. Honestly, it looks very plain and dull - not very appealing if you are a first time user to ordering takeaway food online. Try search for the post code of West Sussex (e.g.BN11 1RL) and have a play around to get an idea of what I am on about rather than just me being deluded on my own. If you are having problems thinking (let alone buying) a gift of some sort for that special somone then TakeawayMenu gift voucher is the way to go. The voucher varies from £10 to £100 and you can buy online through their webpage and fill out a payment form (The website is slacking in design). The gift voucher must be really popular in West Sussex. Overall, I am slightly disappointed with this website - the best page is the home page (to look at anyway) andit all looks too simple and unprofessional. More work needs to be done I am afraid. If you would like to check out other competitors TakeawayMenu.com is up against you can view the comparison table and have a takeaway experience with any other service that catches your eye.
