TakeawaySites.co.uk is a University project based on websites that provide services for ordering takeaway food online. The website has reviews of all of the major competitors in the UK and the reason behind for these reviews is to discover new websites and companies that are competing in this sector.

I learnt a lot about SEO and content writing during my internship at Just-Eat.co.uk and the company was kind enough to register the domain on my behalf. Using the new found knowledge I was able to make and build up this website and see where it ends up in the matrix of Google. Looking at and learning Google Analytics has made me understand the value of good content.

Within the last three months I have had over a 1,000 visitors due to heavy marketing techniques using Social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Forums etc and also link-building with other websites. Most of the traffic I am receiving is from Google Organic. Takeawaysites.co.uk is not a commercial website yet I am receiving emails from companies and restaurants asking me to register them on to TakeawaySites.co.uk.

I aim to use all this knowledge and experience and advance forward to making a name for myself in the Ecommerce world.
